About solidarbor-tech

A team dedicated to making retirement planning accessible and personal

Founded on a Simple Belief

solidarbor-tech began in 2009 when our founder, after two decades in institutional pension management, recognised a gap in the market. Large pension providers were excellent at managing funds but often struggled to connect with individual clients on a personal level.

The vision was straightforward: create a firm that combined technical expertise with genuine personal service. Where clients weren't account numbers but individuals with unique circumstances and aspirations.

What started as a small practice in London has grown into a team of eighteen advisers serving clients across the United Kingdom. Despite our growth, we've maintained the personal approach that defined us from the beginning. Every client still has direct access to their adviser, and every recommendation is tailored to individual circumstances.

What Guides Us

The principles that shape every client interaction

Long-Term Thinking

Retirement planning spans decades. We don't chase short-term gains or make recommendations that look good today but create problems tomorrow. Every strategy is designed with your entire retirement horizon in mind.

Transparent Communication

Pensions involve complex regulations and financial concepts. We explain everything in plain English, ensuring you understand not just what we recommend but why. No jargon, no obscuring of important details.

Client-Centred Independence

We're not tied to any product provider. Our recommendations are based solely on what's right for you. This independence means we can access the entire market and select options that genuinely serve your interests.

Relationship Continuity

You won't be passed between different advisers or left dealing with call centres. Your adviser knows your situation, remembers your conversations, and is available when you need guidance.
